The Process

Select between white or ivory for your paper color. White is a bright white and ivory is a softer off-white without yellow undertones. I recommend ordering a sample pack if you are unsure which paper color to choose.

Paper Color

Select between single ply, 120 pound paper, or double ply, 240 pound paper. While your paper weight is a personal preference, I love upgrading the main invitation to double ply for a more luxurious experience.

Foil printing is the process of using metallic foil. Heat and pressure is applied onto the metal plate leaving an impression on the paper.

Foil Printing:

Letterpress printing, is done by creating a plate of your design and pressing matte ink into the paper, leaving an impressed look.

Letterpress Printing:

Digital printing, also known as flat printing, applies ink directly to the paper. The result is a smooth and seamless print.

It is recommend to mail your save the dates 6-8 months in advance of the wedding. If you are having a destination wedding or the majority of your guests need to travel, I would advise sending your save the dates 10-12 months in advance.

You can place your digitally printed orders about a month before you need them in-hand. If you order letterpress or foil printing, place the order at least two months before you need them in hand.

You can always purchase your save the dates or invitations early. I will hold my schedule for you and help you with timeline management!

Many of our couples send invitations 8-12 weeks in advance. You should always consider guests needing to book travel, and your final head count or meal choice date for the venue and caterer.

If you would prefer that I assemble and mail your stationery, you can add assembly and/or postage and mailing services depending on my availability.

Of course! We’ll take the suite you select and personalize it to your needs, including venue illustrations and other embellishments.

You can select from one of our pre-designed stock venues or have a custom venue created for $250.

You typically want to estimate about 60% of your guest count in invitations. Many guests are married, so you want to count households, not guests.

I always recommend ordering 10 additional suites for any last minute guest list changes, a copy for your photographer, and a keepsake for yourself!

Once you place your order and submit your 50% retainer, you’ll receive a welcome email with a wedding information questionnaire and a guest list template.

You’ll receive your first round digital proof of your design and embellishments 5 business days after the wedding information questionnaire is received.

If you ordered a custom venue illustration, please allow an additional 4 weeks before receiving your first round proof.

Two complimentary rounds of revisions are included with each order.
